Michelle’s Daily Bread

February 20, 2009

What is it with girls telling the world how much they’ve eaten that day? Either girls think guys find it interesting or these girls just have absolutely nothing else to say and they just need to talk. I seriously wonder how many guys out there have to sit in their seats and bore away with the long lists that girls lay before them. Maybe, I’m the only one out there that ends up hearing this nonsense. Am I the only one??? Anyways, the following is an example of a list made by a girl that loves to talk about her diet. Let’s analyze:

(Notice how many times she eats cereal in a day)

Brunch:

salad: egg, olive, tomato, mushroom, cucumber, tofu, cauliflower, dry mushroom, Asian sesame dressing, spinach, mixed lettuce

4 cups of cereal: Lucky Charms, Honey-Nut Cheerios, regular Cheerios, Special K with strawberries

1 cup of coffee

Lunch:

raisin bread

3 more cups of cereal

Plate of salad: red peppers, tofu, and olives, lettuce,

3 sweet potatoes

2 raisin breads: toasted

3 Hershey kisses

3 pieces of cornbread

3 spoons of chocolate cake

Dinner?

Sandwich: whole wheat bread, honey mustard, lettuce tomato, turkey toasted

1 grapefruit

2 oranges

1 chai tea

milk with shredded oats cereal

more cereal: puffins, honey nut cheerios, lucky charms, life, special K,

..to understate how many cups of cereal she’s eaten, I would say about 10 cups. Now that’s still ALOT of cereal.

Dear Michelle,

Just Kidding. As much as I complain about your dang lists, I really do enjoy them. See ya =)

It’s getting HOT HOT HOT!

Do you like spicy food? Well, according to James Raiswell from AskMen.com here is a list of the top 10 spiciest dishes around the world:

1. Sambal oelek – Indonesia

2. Vindaloo – India

3. Wot – Ethiopia

4. Jerk chicken – Caribbean

5. Suicide chicken wings – U.S.

6. Bibimbap with kimchi – South Korea

7. Lo Bok with Sichuan peppercorns – China

8. Papa a la Huancaina – Peru

9. Shrimp Creole – U.S.

10. Tom yum – Thailand

I’ve bolded number 5 on the list because we, Americans absolutely love chicken wings. Now there’s a lot of controversy to which shack holds the spiciest flavor, but I will tell you right now…the spiciest wings EVER are from a growing franchise called Cluck-U’s. Cluck-U’s 911 flavored chicken is specifically called the 911 for the obvious reason that…well you’re going to want to call 911.

So have you ever been in that situation where you and all of your friends are just sitting around and wondering what to do? And then, some idiot goes…let’s do something stupid! I would like to announce, I’m that idiot. If your just lounging around right now, I urge you to be that idiot and drag all your friends to take the 911 challenge!

The following is a clip of my ignorant self in high school thinking the challenge was pie.
